Carved by the Gustav Dentzel carousel factory in Germantown, PA, circa 1885, and professionally restored in 1990 by Carousel Works, Inc in Mansfield, OH. Currently it resides in Holmdel, NJ.

The Philadelphia Style horse presents in very good condition, in a polychrome palete of a bright bay body having a flaxen mane and trappings in blue, red, tan, brown and metallic gold. The figure has glass eyes and is furnished with a natural horsehair tail.
Purchased from Robert R. Kissel, on 4/14/90 for a price of $20,000. It was restored by Carousel Works, Inc. on 7/5/90 for another $2,000.
