Bruce White is a famed carousel carver and carousel book author. He created and supplied carousel horses for the AppleBee's restaurant chain (more than 1200 restaurants worldwide). Bruce also provided carousel animal carvings to Chance Manufacturing, who make amusement rides. You can see replicas of those on the Omaha Zoo carousel, the Phoenix Zoo carousel and the San Jose Sharks carousel.
Bruce decided to build his own carousel, one of his carousels is at the Patee House Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri.
This carousel has been at Exploration Place in Wichita and at Tanganyika Wildlife Park. It has received so many compliments about its "old-fashioned" charm. It needs someone who can make it available for children to enjoy again.
